What We Offer

We are licensed and insured electrical contractors, serving clients in the Greater Boston area with experience in all areas of residential wiring - from renovation to new construction, lighting design and landscape lighting, knob & tube removal for insulation, or inspection for purchase and sale. Additionally we have experience in commercial wiring, including small commercial kitchens, data & communications, audio and intercom wiring, and life safety devices such as smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors.

About Us

Fairchild Electric, LLC is a family business with a long history serving clients in Greater Boston.  

Started in 1988 as Fairchild & Sanchez by Robert Fairchild, it became a multigenerational affair when his daughter Julia Fairchild joined as an apprentice electrician in 2001. Due to the downturn of the economy in 2008 the business changed with the times and became Fairchild Electric: A Father & Daughter Company, with Julia taking on a major role and earning her master’s license.

In 2017 Robert began his transition into retirement and Julia started Fairchild Electric, LLC - still offering the same commitment to workmanship and quality that has made Fairchild Electric a trusted source for electrical work in the Greater Boston area for 30 years.
