Fairchild Electric, LLC was established in 2017 but the story of this business began 30 years ago.
30 years which have established and strengthened our commitment to quality workmanship and excellence. 

Fairchild and Sanchez Electric

In 1988 after working for several years at Oficina Hispana in Cambridge training recent immigrants in electrical work Robert partnered with Juan Sanchez to form Fairchild & Sanchez Electric. Through their hard work and dedication they built their reputation and became well established as a go-to source for residential wiring in the Greater Boston area. 

In 2001 Julia joined Fairchild and Sanchez as an apprentice electrician at the age of 18, she learned closely from Robert and Juan and gained her journeyman's license in her early 20’s.

In 2008 in response to the downturn in the economy Robert downsized the business, amicably dissolving his partnership of 20 years with Juan Sanchez.

Fairchild Electric: a father Daughter Company

In 2015 Julia earned her Master's License. Julia took on more of the business aspect of working with Robert. And Robert renamed it a "Father Daughter Company" a name which would later be underscored by the part time apprenticeships of Ferron and Rosie, Julia's younger sisters.

In 2017 after almost 30 years of owning his own business and over 40 years of working in the trades Robert began his slow transition into retirement and Julia took over the family business!

Robert is still in the picture, taking small jobs - he remains an invaluable resource, remotely offering insight and morale boosts, as they are needed.

Fairchild Electric, LLC is now owned and operated by Julia Fairchild, Master Electrician. She’s grateful to be able to continue to work with the same of the same contractors Robert started working for many moons ago, and many of Robert’s clientele whom she’s now known for more than half her life.
